My father in law committed ***e. I never knew him but am paying the price for his decision. I have deep empathy for him. He was suffering. His daughter, my soon to be ex wife, also suffers. Is he in heaven? Who are we to say?
I would not condemn him to hell. Christ enjoins us not to judge or condemn, but to forgive. My FIL was a child of a God we say is compassionate, loving, merciful. If I, a sinner, would not condemn a suffering man to more punishment, would God?
My understanding is limited. Who am I to say? Just wishing peace in this life to all those who suffer. Wishing relief and resilience and hang-on-ness to those contemplating ***e.
I just hoping too that you don't go ER
That sounds so strange - personally I would definitely look into that. You could call a doctor (service) (I don't know about you(r country), but in Germany we have the so called general practitioners emergency service we can call and visit 24/7 .
. when their practices may not be open). You could ask whether they think your symptoms warrant a visit to the ER. In case of doubt I would definitely not shy away from spending some time on your health. (I hope it doesn't cost money. In Germany.
. it doesn't - it's covered by health insurance.)
Hope you feel better soon!
I know the feeling sigh
