Also a friend and I refer to it as 'bad kitty' because of a previous cover story, so sometimes telling the *kitty* off before anything happens relieves the tension. Sounds silly but whatever works :)
Popping on headphones, podcast and a power walk helps me too :) little one is on Easter holidays so haven't had much chance to do that. Perhaps why I'm beginning to struggle...

Yes that can be a problem, I take mine with sometimes as she enjoys walking and we just chatter inanely about whatever she wants, can also help to unwind the stress
My little one helps keep me focused, he's the main reason I continue to engage and take meds. Im trying to create lists of emotions, so I can look at that to help determine how I'm feeling.

Where do you live where you have a hedgehog just outside? I've never even seen one so definitely haven't rescued one. Well done!
I live centrally haha but tbf we have loads around here. Lots of areas they live to hide. The hedgehog lady said he was very tiny and looked poorly. So super glad we did the right thing

I'm using Quit That! app, tracks in day, hours and minutes. Helps a bit to stare at it and watch the time flow

Stopped doing it a year or so ago // guess it becomes a habit with time & probably doesn't help the way we think it does
