Inviting people round to then go somewhere with them works for me. Graduated exposure.
Started doing that a year and a half ago. Now I go pretty much anywhere on my own... Stadiums of 30,000 people, busy city centre, you name it
Do a painting. Go for a walk. Write a poem. Find a dance class. Play some sport. Watch your very favourite film. Talk to a forgotten friend. Go on a woodlouse finding expedition. Collect some flowers and book them in books you won't read for ages.
