What temperature is it where you are? It is around 11C/50F here which is my perfect running temperature... It's just too gusty! Almost running backwards at times! I did over 5 miles with 4 walking bits a minute each for recovery other day...

Today I did 2 runs with a 3 minute walking break in between, probably just under 4 miles. Looking forward to being able to run 4 miles in one go again, I don't feel far off... Hip doesn't feel 100% but it feels good enough! Happy about that!

I lost the little USB dongle for my wireless mouse, and I'm disproportionately upset and frustrated by that. I don't know why I'm so upset, but it's really bothering me. :/

It wasn't that bad a weekend really. Got to try a new bar Saturday and hung out that afternoon with friends. Had a good run then watched football on Sunday. Got plenty of rest. Not sure why I feel so bad today and last night...

If your device has Bluetooth built in, no dongle needed, sometimes I just use my first wired usb mouse from decades ago, don't have to worry about batteries then.

There ya go! It's all winter's fault. Totally why I had Reese's Cups for breakfast & a candy bar as a treat with daughter. Don't tell BF. I ate the receipts! 😜 (Actually, I told the cashier to keep them because I was hiding our candy consumption 😂)

I've also been meditating 10 or 15 minutes nearly every day (trying every day, but don't always make it). Focusing on peace and patience and calm. I don't know if it helps, but it gives me a lot to think about during the day.

It's normal after focusing hard on this kind of self improvement to feel weak and drained and want to take a step back. So I forgive myself for yesterday's indulgences and my low mood and self loathing. I accept it, and I will grow from it.

Wholewheat pasta, wholemeal rice, frietjes! Keep the fuel levels high! Be sensible if you're injured, there's always another day. If you heal up, think of all the miles you've put in the last 12 months, smash it!

Long day. Ran at 7 and non-stop work sanding cabinets until 6pm. Exhausted. Parents are great help. But the guilt! Ugh, everii do is horrible. That's even more exhausting.

Busy weekend. Three full days of sanding and painting. Kitchen looks great! Didn't get everything done but got a lot done. Parents were great...isn't easy to be patient but I tried.
