My friend made me some low cal food yesterday and it was the first real meal I had in over two weeks. Was scared at first but my scale was 0.4kg lower than yesterday this morning so it's not too bad.

Try talking to your GP or a mental health professional about this, they'll be help you well. I think you're doing great anyway discussing this here, but consider your GP!

Hi John. I'm still looking for a therapist. It's really hard to find one with open spots around here but I'll definitely talk to them about it as soon as I find one. :)

A dr could help too. Unless there's some translation issues, most therapists would be less qualified. I think you are brave and you are probably helping others who feel the same just by writing about it. Stay well.

My doctor doesn't really help.. she just tells me to get a therapist, but I haven't told her about the eating disorder yet. Just about the depression. I might tell her. Maybe she can help. :)

When I talked to my doctor about the depression she handed me a number to call. I'm sure your doctor can also recommend some therapists.

I'd definitely recommend telling her about the eating disorder too! You'll get better with a bit of help. Just stay as well as you can day to day.

Wow... Is there any way to have your insurance pay for private treatment in such cases? In Germany, this can be an option, if you can show that all officially covered psychologists are unavailable and you need help urgently.

I have been working with a clinical psychologist through Talkspace for a couple of months now... It is probably not the same as face to face therapy and may not be right for you, but I found it very helpful.

Feeling better. I was able to run with my sunglass on even if there wasn't any sun. Makes it easier to cross other people if they can't see my eyes.

I hung out with someone from the past yesterday and it was weird to see my self around them now that my depression isn't there like that anymore. I felt powerful and in control of myself. Loving life.
