oh no, have you tried melatonin? depression is a hard thing that i feel can come back and go away over and over. have you tried a councelor they can be hard to find but if you find a good one it would probably help you feel better.
don't feel like it's destiny for you to have depression and insomnia. it might feel like you are always going to have these but try getting out with your friends or family. find something you love doing like playing an instrument or reading do that
Thank you Caitlin
*Thank you Caitlin for the hugs and kind words
That's crap Sonny. Wish it was easier to deal with.
May be more a function of biology. The body adapts & returns to baseline, which partially explains why pharmaceuticals have limited effectiveness over time. Dr Andrew Huberman shares many research based protocols on his podcast/YouTube channel
...which you might want to explore. I think you'll find the right formula that works for you as discouraging as the last experiments were. You're persistent & will bounce back as you have in the past.
Acknowledging the frustration, we can also recognize our resilience in the face of setbacks.
I know the truth about this. You should grab a volume of random information and get cozy anyway.
Thank you everyone
Thinking of you....hope you find a solution that works soon
Sonny! It's been awhile.. not nice to hear you're struggling so much. I hope the other brands can give you some release. Hold on! X
Esther! Good to hear from you 😃. Thank you. I hope all is well with you
Thank you Beth
Hey, Sonny! Definitely hoping you can find something that works. I feel dysregulated without sleep, so can empathize. 20-40 min of yoga nidra has helped me restore some balance midday. Wondering if a protocol like that might help a bit.
Thanks love! I'll look into some yoga
Yoga nidra is different, although yoga is good too. Yoga nidra is more a meditation. It puts me in a delta state similar to sleep. After 39 minutes, feels like I've had a nap. I awaken refreshed and alert. Ready for the rest of the day.
That does awesome! I'll look it up today. Thank you
Andrew huberman is a neuroscientist who has a podcast that covers wellness. He mentions some protocols we can try to improve sleep.
I did some yoga nidra during my break. I feel like a new man.
Sweet! Thanks for the info
I like it too! But I use it to sleep during the night.

You can do it. One day at a time or one hour at a time or one minute at a time. Easy does it my friend.
Thank you Mandy
Trying to do the exact same, it's seeming hard during an episode 🙄😩
I'll do what ever has the most vote
Blue wins, guess I'm not getting back w my ex. Which is probably good
Just my feeling, but they are usually an ex for a reason. That said, it is natural to feel a pull towards them because if previous attachment. This is what I remind myself. Hugs Sonny
Couldn't agree more HF
Sounds poetic though.
Understand you. Sometimes I have similar feelings
As in romantically or generally?
The mystics say there is only oneness. While we remain stuck in the illusion of separateness, we feel the intense longing. We imagine it is outside of ourselves and project our deep desire for love and union unto others. So, Id answer yes.
Thank you love
How long? If you don't mind
Thank you Shelly thank you albertine
Tough. I'm in a similar spot, I hate my job but it pays ok and my boss is incompetent. Guessing you're past a list of pros and cons?

Hows the weight loss going?
Thanks John! It went good. I lost a total of 40 lbs last year. How have you been man?
That's great! Keep moving. Running 3x a week got me from 235lbs a year and a half ago to between 160 - 165lbs which I've been for the last 6 months. No major dramas mental health wise. Occasional bad days but they don't last forever.
Dude! That's badass man! Congratulations on the weight loss! Keep it up and stay strong
And my results are only a few days old. He said if I didn't do his test don't bother coming back. Well that's that.
