Interesting, indeed! I'm reading a book that describes feelings as the interface between physical reactions (often unconscious) and cognitive systems.

No. I don't think it's that good. That was one of the few nuggets in there.
Which makes perfect sense because mood is not a direct reflection of circumstance. It in itself can be arbitrary. ;)
