I try to keep myself busy, meditate, walk in nature and did a course on the science of happiness, which really put things into perspective for me. Now whenever I overthink, I try to go to the happy place in my mind, which stops the overthinking
Thank you for your help. That's a really good idea. I'm going to start counselling on Tuesday so I think that will help.
I suffer from flash backs too. Cups of teas always help, or a nice hot chocolate <3
A cuppa tea and a sit down is always a very good thing.
