They love doing work around the house, but it's so frustrating! It shouldn't take him 3-5 hrs for dinner! It's pasta!
And vacuuming? Don't get me started. I want to rip my hair out everytime. And i can't say anything bc they're too prideful and they'll just mope around if i try showing them how to do it.
We compromised and now I do most of the chopping, but why doesn't he understand intuitive stuff about food? He has literally poisoned us with chicken so many times that o refuse to have it. And of course the dairy will curdle if you hear it up!!!
Ugh. It's so intuitive to me and I hate that they haven't been raised to do literally any housework ever.
Omg another 100 dollars in the trash bc he doesnt listen to me about cooking. I'm so angry.
I'm not eating this crap.
Also.. merry xmas
*Hugs*
Merry Christmas Lenny)
That sucks! I used to live with someone who took four hours to cook stuff... Everyone would be super hungry or just east something else. The only reason is just staying on his phone and talking instead of doing. Also, doing all the chores
excruciatingly slowly and poorly. I thought it was passive aggression tbh. We're not together anymore, my current partner is great to do chores with and super chill.
This is not advice , mind you, I'm just sharing my thoughts. I don't know your spouse and there could be so many reasons for procrastination and pride, mostly childhood trauma, attachment trauma. My ex also had his reasons to be this way, he actually
shares my diagnosis... So I can't really blame him, I just know it was super irritating, but not the reason we broke up.
Thank you, @alicia b, for sharing. I feel so guilty about it. But I like hearing other experiences
Hope you find a good therapist who points you to the wiser guide within.
Thank you pandas 😅
