I am curious too!! . . . Perhaps Verra is not comfortable in social situations so she developed the idea of being invisible which gave her a sense of comfort. When it's threatened she feels uncomfortable? Is this how you feel, Verra? xxx

whoops . . . I was reading a book today. Sometimes we use maladapted coping techniques. I learnt about how dissociation is a coping technique developed during childhoodtrauma which is deprimental in adult life . . . makes sense. I hope you can manage

Quite a fruitfull day. Tried out a new pie recipy, which turned out great. Made marschmellows from scratch. As a lot of products can't be bought here, or are really expensive, I have to make my own.

It's a useful exercise. Not only can we control breath to a degree, we can use it to train attention, manage stress, anxiety or other strong emotions, quiet the din of thought, surrendering into the moment. The breath is an ally.

Day 1 of the start of withdrawal of effexor. I'm tappering it off slowly as advised by my psychiatrist. Rn i start to feel the dark emotions that i once felt in my suicidal days in nov.

Talking from experience, it's best to titrate very slowly coming off Venlafaxine/Effexor. It's was a very uncomfortable time in my life. Please try and keep hold of hope, because when I came off it I nearly lost it.
