SO my report cards came in yesterday and I have Bs and Cs because i'm not that smart but I was still proud of myself because I usually have bad grades but my parents as usual weren't impressed 🙄🙄

Therapist suggested I try to identify my emotions. Have printed off a list of emotions as I've never really named them before. This AM I am angry about a work email I got of all things!

For me, if I've nothing nice to say I walk away don't get me wrong this doesn't always work but find it helps. If people around me ain't being nice again I walk away, don't need their negativity around me either. Deep breaths and take a minute for me

Today has been a day of 'hiding the pain, hiding the tears & hiding the truth'. 😠 I never felt so ill. Still went to visit family before crashing out in bed. I hope my next few days are better.

Yes, that's very true Noel & it is the same for me too. Although, I do worry of being misjudged on my illness or upsetting family who watch me struggle but are restricted to the help in terms of pain

The pain has been here, long term (14 years). I try to push through especially at work so maybe better at hiding the pain. I do think you are right & should do this more often. So thank you :)
