Today I felt like crying when I got to work. I had some sui thoughts today and felt powerless. I am still pushing so thats all that counts. I have developed new habits that I am proud of.

I make sure I do not eat after 8pm unless I didn't eat my last meal or eat properly when I was out like I did on sunday.

My bed time is also a new habit too. To sleep at 10am. Usually takes me a while to fall asleep though but it is better than when I would sleep past 12.

I like your approach, Daisy. Its sensible to me. We change small habits. Getting sufficient sleep is one of the simplest changes we can make to yield the best results. Exercise is another. You've got both on your list.

Some of the practices yield immediate results. Exercise changes the body's chemistry after just a few minutes. Mind is clearer after a few nights of solid rest. I use breath work to change my biochemistry. I use the Wim Hof Method.

These disciplines reinforce each other. You exercise & feel better, reduce stress, build confidence. By bedtime you're tired, you sleep better. Next day, we attack again.

The part that says, 'But I dont want to,' yet does it anyway is being integrated. She is learning to accept the leadership of the emerging you. As she grows in acceptance and trust, she too grows stronger, healthier.

With each round of the WHM, your co2 tolerance increases, ph balance in blood becomes more alkaline which increases pain thresholds. By relaxing during breath retention phase, you learn to dial down the sympathetic (stress) response.

Cold therapy + meditation are the other 2 pillars of WHM which both have physical & psychological benefits too many to list. I use these techniques when I lead meditation sessions & retreats. We regulate body temp & meditate outside in cold.
